"Kuruba Akkayyamma Smaraka" got its due recognition
(posted June 2,2009Archives: A century old structure. ) Now this century old structure proudly stands tall in the heart of
Chintamani. It has got a new water tap and drinking water too. All the street side
encroachers have been vacated and this action by the town municipal corporation has brought smiles on the people who pass-by this road. With the petty shops, non-vegetarian hotels throwing their wastes around it, it looked almost impossible to vacate them from here. Congratulations to everyone who were involved in making this impossible possible. There are lots of unattended works that people love to see a change.
